RAPID TRANSIT

3:07, 1969. My first finished film, animated, edited, and processed with "Displacement" to keep the cost under the laboratory minimum charge. It was made with dried black beans manipulated on a light box, shot with a 16mm Bolex. Amidst the pulsating abstract patterns there is a brief self- portrait.
